Lokpa Sherpa (age 26). Lokpa Sherpa is not married and lives in Kathmandu with his family. He has climbed Shisha Pangma and Cho Oyu in Tibet. This is his first time climbing Mount Everest. Lokpa is enjoying climbing with the NFB Everest Expedition Team Members. He says, "they're a very nice climbing team." When Lokpa Sherpa is not climbing, he likes to go dancing in the disco bars in Kathmandu. His favorite band is the Bengal Boys. Lokpa Sherpa says his parents and family are very nervous to have him climbing on Mount Everest and don't like him to come here.

Lokpa Chiiring Sherpa

Lokpa Chiiring Sherpa (age 30). Lokpa Chiiring Sherpa lives with his wife and family in Thame. He is the father of three children, Ang Nimi, Ang Take, and Kami Tita. He has been on Mount Everest two times previously. The first time he got to the South Col; the second time he stood on the top of Mount Everest. He said the view from the top is beautiful. You can see Tibet. When he's not climbing, he enjoys being a father and plays with his children.
